Small Animal Veterinarian
Veterinary New Orleans, Louisiana Direct-Hire Sep 16, 2026 Veterinarian
- Private Practice (Greater New Orleans) Full-service, small-animal hospital that's privately owned, hiring for an Associate Veterinarian in Harvey, LA. 3-doctor team
Skilled support team - 4 Techs/assistants per doctor
Established client base
State-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and services including in-house analyzers, IDEXX in-house lab and visual radiography, analysis machines for blood work, dentistry, radiology, paperless record keeping with NeoPractice system, anesthesia, and anesthesia monitoring.
Schedule:
Hospital hours are 8:30 am
- 6 pm Monday
- Friday / 8:30 am
- 2 pm Saturday / Closed Sundays Full-time schedule is preferred: 4 days/week including rotating Saturdays
Part-time options available
Qualifications:
DVM / VMD
Louisiana State Veterinary License required
2+ years of experience practicing small animal medicine is preferred
Proficiency in general practice soft tissue surgery is required
Compensation:
$100,000
- $135,000, commensurate with experience.
Straight base salary or base + production (whatever is most meaningful!) #KJ-LI1
