Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Specialist Buzzards Bay & Dennis, Massachusetts Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is looking for a board-certified, board-eligible, or residency-trained Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Specialist to join our collaborative emergency and specialty team. This is an exciting time to join CCVS. We are expanding our hospital, increasing the capacity of our Emergency and Critical Care department, adding advanced imaging including MRI and fluoroscopy, and preparing to launch Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Dentistry. What You'll Do:
Our criticalists provide advanced care for hospitalized, emergent, and critically ill patients while working closely with emergency veterinarians, specialists, interns, residents, and an experienced nursing team.
Responsibilities include:

Our criticalists work closely with these services to provide coordinated care for complex patients. Education is also an important part of our culture. CCVS supports ECC and rotating internships, residency training, structured veterinary technician education, and continuing education programs. Criticalists have the opportunity to participate in rounds, mentorship, case discussion, and the clinical development of the teams around them. Compensation & Schedule We offer: Base salary of $200,000-$250,000, based on experience and schedule Participation in a pooled production bonus designed to support team-based medicine and hospital performance Four-day workweek, including one administrative day The schedule may include day and swing shifts, ICU and ER receiving responsibilities, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage based on department needs.
