The practice provides care for both scheduled appointments and walk-in cases in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. What You'll Do Perform comprehensive exams, diagnose and treat medical conditions, and provide preventive care. Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans based on patient history, exam findings, and test results. Maintain accurate medical records, including diagnoses, treatments, medications, diagnostics, and client communication. Perform anesthesia and routine surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, wound/laceration repairs, and mass removals. Manage urgent cases such as urethral obstructions and stabilize patients when needed. Develop outpatient hospitalization and treatment plans and coordinate referrals or overnight care when appropriate. Communicate clearly with clients, veterinary staff, and referral hospitals to ensure continuity of care.
Schedule Full-Time:
4 days per week / 8-hour shifts

11 AM-7 PM Weekend availability is required. What We're Looking For DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or equivalent. Current DEA license. Current Controlled Substance License in Massachusetts, or ability to obtain one by start date. Comfortable working in a busy urgent care environment with both scheduled and walk-in cases. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and safely handle animal patients. Experience with more advanced procedures and dentistry is a plus, but not required.
