A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Opportunity with this position to also work at our other locations as well as our Springfield MA hospital. Second Chance is a leading non-profit organization, pioneering the "access to care" model on a national level for helping pets from underserved communities get the veterinary care they need. We provide subsidized pricing to those who qualify while still providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Our 4 hospitals and animal shelter help to provide care to over 64,000 pets a year working with 24 veterinarians and an amazing support staff in our organization!
We offer the following:
4 day work week for full-time or a great part-time schedule. We are open Monday - Friday with no nights or weekends (Saturday special community events are an option) State of the art equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, fully equipped in-house diagnostic lab, dental, and surgery suites, and more Collaborative work environment with 24 veterinarians across our 4 veterinary hospitals in Springfield, Worcester, Southbridge and North Brookfield, MA.
