As an Associate Veterinarian, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the practice's culture and ensuring high-quality medical care. As a new hospital, we are looking for an active team member who will have input to establish protocols, procedures, and workflow through collaboration with the rest of the staff. Key Responsibilities:

Examine patients thoroughly and completely for both wellness and illness cases, while informing their family of your findings and their significance Educate pet owners on preventive care practices, including nutrition, parasite control, and behavioral training Communicate effectively with clients about their pet's health, diagnostic and treatment options, and prognoses Address client concerns and questions with empathy and professionalism, providing clear and thorough explanations Develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans collaboratively with a pet's family, balancing exemplary medical standards with the needs of the patient and the desires of their human(s) Perform surgical and dental procedures using current techniques, individually tailored anesthesia, and proactive, multimodal pain management Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, including examination findings, treatments, and fo llow-up care Work closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other staff members to provide coordinated and efficient care Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve optimal outcomes for patients Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of clinic policies and procedures Make critical decisions and take appropriate actions in high-pressure situations to stabilize and treat patients Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine, including new diagnostics and treatments, technologies, and best practices Ensure compliance with applicable company, state, and federal laws, statutes, and regulations, as appropriate As an Associate Veterinarian, you will enjoy: Competitive compensation No overnights, or on call Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Monthly stipend toward health insurance Annual CE reimbursement Personal petcare discounts Uniform allowance This isn't just another associate role—it's an opportunity to shape the future of our hospital.
