A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

If you have special interests, we support that! If you don't want to see the inside of an abdomen, we aren't going to make you do ExLaps! We have an incredible support staff that are appropriately leveraged and allow our doctors to do doctor stuff! Qualifications- Obviously you need to be able to practice
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from an AVMA accredited institution and a valid MD state veterinary license or the ability to get one.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- we have all the normal toys in house and our clients want to know the why
- they don't just want meds to patch a problem.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting-we have doctor meetings once a month and doctor dinners quarterly during which we can develop, direct and make sure we are all on board with the hospital's direction. We can also frequently be found huddling up to discuss cases or treatment options.
