Sign-On & Relocation Assistance Schedule:

We're looking for an experienced emergency veterinarian who is team-oriented, client-focused, open-minded, and committed to practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive, fast-paced hospital. Ideal for any emergency practitioners within the Ethos network looking to deepen their expertise in emergency practice. This path lets you stay in your current Ethos network hospital, enjoying your full wages and benefits while practicing at an Ethos hospital and pursuing board certification.
In Your Day-to-Day, You Will:
Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals. Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment (Daily responsibilities are shift dependent and can be customized based on areas of interest) Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine; Cutting is not required and is customizable based on each doctor's interests. Collaborate closely with board-certified specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Cardiology, Oncology, Dentistry, Radiology, and Canine Rehabilitation to provide seamless patient care. Identify a project aligned with your clinical interests, giving you the opportunity to expand your expertise, contribute to the hospital, and share your knowledge with teammates. Utilize advanced technology including digital radiology, in-house laboratory, dedicated ICU, modern surgical suites with Ligasure, high flow oxygen, TA 90 and LVS staplers, isolation wards, and an in-house blood bank. Work alongside experienced and talented technicians, discharge coordinators, and patient care coordinators who allow you to focus on practicing exceptional medicine. Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. Contribute to a positive, collaborative hospital culture built on teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Maryland veterinary licensure. Completion of a rotating internship or at least 2 years of emergency medicine experience Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach. A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
