A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

When you're managing a complex critical case at 2am, you have direct access to specialists across surgery, internal medicine, oncology, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, and behaviour. You're not working beside a roster sheet; you're working beside people. Our clients come to us because they're prepared to follow the clinical recommendation. They trust the team, invest in diagnostics, and commit to treatment. That means you get to practice the kind of medicine you trained for. Our ECC team is anchored by experienced clinicians and supported by a nursing group who are equally invested in outcomes. As a team we're also actively involved in ongoing research, so if you want your work to contribute beyond the consult room, t's a place for that too. Everything you need
- 64 slice CT, high field MRI, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, full in house laboratory (including coags and blood gas), three surgical suites, and IDEXX Extended Specialist Consultation after hours. The infrastructure is . So is the caseload to use it. The Role You'll stabilise and manage a diverse emergency and critical caseload
- resuscitation, thoracocentesis, emergency anaesthesia, ICU monitoring
- with genuine specialist collaboration and full case continuity from presentation through recovery.
Flexible rostering includes week-on/week-off options.
