_PARAGRAPH JOB_DESCRIPTION.SHARE.HTML Owings, Maryland Veterinarian 15030 VetCor Job Description Who we are: Calvert Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit team in Owings, MD! We're a smaller, high-volume practice that takes pride in providing personalized care while maintaining a strong focus on work-life balance. If you're looking for a team that feels like family, offers flexibility, and keeps things interesting, we'd love to meet you! About the Practice Our hospital sees approximately 15-20 patients per doctor each day and has a diverse caseload consisting of 95% small animal and 5% exotic patients. We have three exam rooms, two surgical suites, a dedicated treatment area, and a paperless workflow. Appointment lengths typically range from 15-30 minutes and may vary based on each doctor's discretion, comfort level, and the needs of the patient.
Our current equipment includes:
Digital radiography and dental radiography Ultrasound Therapy laser Cautery pens We're also giving the hospital a fresh facelift, with updates underway to the flooring, paint, X-ray room, cabinetry, and front desk. About the

You'll have a 2:1 doctor-to-technician/assistant ratio, one CVT, and three additional assistants currently attending tech school. We also enjoy giving our doctors opportunities to explore their interests. One of our current veterinarians performs fish and pond visits, and we're open to supporting unique areas of interest.
