Job Overview Emergency Veterinary Hospital and Specialty Services (EVH) is seeking a full-time medical oncologist for our rapidly growing hospital. EVH is a privately owned, AAHA accredited 24-hour small animal emergency and specialty clinic located in Ann Arbor, Michigan - an area that is regularly ranked as one of the best places to live in the USA! We are proud to serve the referring veterinary community of southern Michigan, northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. We currently have an oncology team (2 LVTs and one assistant), full-time exotic specialist, a visiting board-certified internal medicine specialist, a visiting board-certified surgeon and a team of emergency doctors providing 24-hour emergency care. A full-time medical oncologist would join our team receiving referrals from our referring veterinary community for medical oncology consultations. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, Cone beam CT scanner and chemotherapy hood. Our specialty center has recently expanded, allowing us to enhance our comprehensive services, create more room, and welcome new colleagues like you. Duties As a vital member of our Oncology team, you'll play a hands-on role in diagnosing, treating, and managing cancer in veterinary patients, utilizing advanced therapies including surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialized treatments. You'll develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, collaborate closely with primary care veterinarians and our multidisciplinary team, and communicate compassionately with pet owners throughout their pet's cancer journey. You'll build and manage a diverse oncology caseload, utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technology, and contribute to the continued growth of our oncology service through education, collaboration, and exceptional patient care. Insurance DEA License Schedule Specialty doctors are expected to work 4 x 10-hour shifts alongside their department medical team. Salary:

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and relevant credentials with an annual base salary of $160,000.00 plus production (no negative accrual), along with other compensation components which include sign-on bonus and additional pay incentives.
