A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
New Buffalo Animal Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian. New graduates and seasoned veterinarians welcomed. We are a privately owned, modern animal hospital that prides ourselves on providing high quality medicine with a reputation for compassionate care. We currently have three doctors and a support team of 20. We have a digital radiology, ultrasound, cold laser, orthopedic equipment, digital dental x-ray, endoscope, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment Base salary range of $100,000-$150,000; 20% production Four-day work week Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance 401k with company match. CE, VIN, AVMA, DEA and State License, etc covered Negotiable signing bonus/moving expenses The New Buffalo community is a small resort town just 90-minutes from Chicago, located on Michigan's West Coast. Lake Michigan is known for magnificent beaches which are just minutes away.
