A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description

Love emergency medicine...but not the schedule? Paw Paw Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to help expand our growing daytime urgent care service. This position is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy diagnosing and treating sick patients, solving challenging medical cases, and practicing high-quality medicine—but want the excitement of urgent care without the traditional emergency schedule. At PPVC, you'll work alongside six experienced veterinarians, exceptional licensed veterinary technicians, and a highly skilled support team in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility. What We're Looking For
  • DVM (or equivalent) and Michigan licensure (or eligibility).
  • Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based medicine.
  • Emergency or urgent care experience is welcome, but not required.
General practice veterinarians with an interest in urgent care are encouraged to apply.
Pay:
$120,000.00
  • $200,000.
