Job DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and skilled Swing and Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our dedicated team either part time or full time. In this role, you will provide high-quality emergency care during overnight shifts, collaborating with our experienced staff to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to advancing their knowledge in emergency medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care to a diverse range of cases.Perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and execute surgical interventions as needed.
Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with emergency veterinary practices.
QualificationsDVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Valid veterinary license to practice in Mississippi.
Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
