What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
What it looks like:
Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases No rechecks - you get to focus on emergency medicine Our Hospitalist cares for your patients after your shift You can do your own surgeries! The case isn't transferred to another department or team. Overnights or day shifts available Support is always available from designated backup Veterinarians for overnights You have a team of other DVMs on site for support and collaboration on cases Requirements Qualifications Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required Being licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Connecticut is required New graduates are welcome to apply!
