Job Description

Animal Medical Center of Hattiesburg is the oldest veterinary clinic in Hattiesburg, MS originating in the 1950's. The practice was purchased by Dr. John Mayfield in 1975. Animal Medical Center is a 11 doctor hospital is a full service, veterinary practice providing 24-hour care and emergency services. Their second location, Petal Animal Clinic, provides small animal general practice services in nearby Petal, MS. Our collaborative teams of doctors are supported by experienced technicians, including 3 CVT's. Our team members refer to each other as family. Our hospitals offer the highest level of care in veterinary medicine, including: Digital Radiography/Dental Radiography Ultrasound Surgical suite with monitoring equipment Laser Therapy Rehabilitation (Petal) Endoscopy (Hattiesburg) Orthopedic Surgery (Hattiesburg) Emergency Services (Hattiesburg) We are seeking a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program . Our ideal candidate is excited to learn new things and be challenged. We are seeking a doctor who not only enjoys veterinary medicine and patients, but also working with the clients and our team.
