As a veterinarian in our new state of the art hospital (opened on June 20, 2025) you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care and surgical care to a variety of companion animals.

• Conduct thorough examinations of animals and diagnose illnesses or injuries
• Develop and implement treatment plans for companion animals based on their conditions
• Train to perform or perform surgical procedures, such as spaying/neutering, pyometras, tumor removals, eye enucleations,
• Administer vaccinations and medications to prevent and treat diseases
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including nutrition, exercise, and grooming
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education ```Requirements```
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
• Valid NC state veterinary license within 1 year
• Proficiency in animal catheterization, animal restraint, and general animal care techniques.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate pet owners
• Ability to handle dogs and other animals with care and compassion
• Knowledge of practice management software Clinic HQ is preferred, but not required
