Job Description

The Animal Hospital on South Main is excited to be expanding our team of Associate Veterinarians. The Animal Hospital is a privately-owned and operated, 8 doctor, full-service small animal hospital in Iredell County with two locations: Statesville and South Main (Troutman). Our Statesville location proudly holds American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accreditation, and our new South Main location is quickly following in those footsteps. We are a general practice and strive to offer referral-quality care for our clients, including preventative care, in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasonography, echocardiology, endoscopy, theriogenology, and advanced surgical and dental procedures. Our practices have provided quality care with compassion for over 50 years to pet owners of the Statesville area. We understand that it takes a village to maintain a standard of excellence. Our veterinarians enjoy a favorable doctor to staff ratio, and we strategically staff our hospitals with experienced and skilled managers, seven RVTs, and other talented support staff members. Our South Main location currently has 1.5 DVMs, 2 RVTs, and appropriate support staff assistance. The fast-paced, collaborative environment and wide breadth of service we provide our clients ensures that Animal Hospital veterinarians have endless opportunities to learn and grow! Because we understand that having a good work/life balance is important, our doctors enjoy schedules that complement personal and family requirements without having to worry about being called in. We routinely hold doctor meetings, and we believe in collaboration and open doors to discuss ideas on what we can do to make your job easier and more efficient. We look forward to hearing what you can bring to the table to expand our services for our patients and clients. For this position, we are looking for a veterinarian with at least three years of experience.
