No Weekends No Holidays No On-Call No Overnight Shifts DOCs Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, fast-paced small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative and compassionate team. We are committed to providing exceptional veterinary medicine while fostering a supportive environment where our doctors can continue to grow professionally. Our practice offers a diverse caseload with opportunities in preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, and comprehensive dentistry. We are passionate about providing excellent dental care and utilize modern equipment to ensure the highest standard of treatment for our patients. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive medical care for canine and feline patients Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, including spays, neuters, and mass removals Perform dental procedures, including oral examinations, digital dental radiograph interpretation, extractions, and treatment planning Build lasting relationships with clients through compassionate communication and exceptional patient care Collaborate with an experienced veterinary team dedicated to outstanding medicine Modern Equipment & Technology Our doctors are supported with advanced diagnostic tools that allow them to practice high-quality medicine, including: Digital dental radiography Digital full-body radiography In-house Zoetis laboratory Zoetis Imagyst diagnostics Ultrasound AI-assisted medical transcription services to streamline medical records Schedule & Work-Life Balance Monday-Friday only No weekends No holidays No on-call responsibilities No overnight shifts Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling We believe outstanding veterinary medicine starts with a healthy work-life balance. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Active Nevada veterinary license in good standing with full prescribing authority Nevada Board of Pharmacy registration in good standing DEA registration preferred Ability to independently diagnose, prescribe, treat, and manage patients Comfortable making independent medical and surgical decisions within a general practice setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Interest in dentistry, surgery, and continued professional growth encouraged This position is intended for a veterinarian who is fully licensed and authorized to independently practice veterinary medicine in Nevada.
