Job Description

We are looking for a Part-time or Full Time (Candidate Choice) licensed veterinarian to add to our team. We are a privately owned growing practice and are seeking an associate to ensure our patients get the care and compassion they deserve. Salary will be based on experience and schedule accepted. We have a strong support staff with excellent technical skills. Our hospital offers digital x-ray, dental radiographs, ultrasound, in house laboratory and a fully equipped surgical suite. As an associate, you would be expected to preform sick and well exams, manage hospital patients and surgery. (Surgery can be optional per the candidate's choice.) Currently our associate veterinarians perform routine and non-routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. Lake Katrine is a small hamlet located in Ulster County. It is just north of the city of Kingston, about 2 hours north of New York, and 1 hour south of Albany. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of animals, providing preventative care, and performing surgical procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and be knowledgeable about the latest advances in veterinary medicine.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of animals. Prescribe medications and treatments for animals. Perform surgery on animals. Provide advice on animal care, nutrition, and behavior. Educate pet owners on proper animal care. Perform routine examinations and vaccinations. Maintain accurate medical records.
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
