What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Our practice is equipped with the tools you need to practice modern canine and feline medicine. We are supported by an experienced team and clients who trust our recommendations.
This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is ready to step away from corporate medicine and join an independent practice wher quality care, professsional autonomy, and community connections matter.
For the right candidate, there is a pathway to practice ownership within 5 years which would include a 1 acre piece of real estate on Jericho turnpike in Smithtown.
Whether you are looking for a long term practice or an opportunity to owm in the future, this position offers room to grow. Competetive salary of $150k-180k based on experience and schedule. Three weeks paid vacation.$2500 paid CE allowance, SEP IRA and medical insurance offered. We are also a Thyrocat I131 treatment center.
