Five state-of-the-art surgical suites, including dedicated rooms for laparoscopy and GI endoscopy, are just the start. Cutting-edge diagnostics like digital radiography, dental X-ray, and ultrasound meet the demands of modern medicine, while a 24/7 in-house pharmacy ensures efficiency and accuracy around the clock. Full-time schedules consist of 10 to 12 shifts per month, with flexibility to accommodate your life. Weekend shifts are part of the role, but the hospital is open to crafting a schedule that suits your preferences. You'll manage emergency cases on a triage basis, stepping into high-stakes situations and making a real difference for pets and their families. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of veterinary experience and is confident—or ready to grow confident—in emergency surgeries like C-sections and handling critical cases. You'll be a fast-paced problem-solver, a team player, and someone who thrives on the unique challenges of emergency medicine. About You:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree Hold an Ohio State Licence or have the ability to obtain one Experience in ER medicine would be advantageous, but mentorship is available! 2+ years of veterinary experience Comfortable performing surgeries Ability to provide compassionate care to pets and their owners Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Ability to remain calm and level-headed
