Our team of experienced veterinarians and embryologists provides advanced bovine reproductive services and consultation both in clinic and on farm settings, with a focus on practical, client-centered programs that support herd productivity and genetic progress. Due to continued growth, this four-doctor practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to help lead and grow our Crescent, Oklahoma clinic location. About the Role Cross Country Genetics, Inc. is seeking a motivated and qualified Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Crescent, Oklahoma. This role offers a unique opportunity for a veterinarian with a strong interest in bovine reproduction to build expertise in advanced reproductive services, including conventional embryo collection, ovum pick-up, embryo cryopreservation, and embryo transfer. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely with beef producers to develop and support herd reproductive goals while collaborating with an experienced team of veterinarians and embryologists committed to high-quality client service and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage donor facility operations and support the delivery of high-quality reproductive services. Perform in-house conventional embryo collection, embryo transfer, and embryo cryopreservation procedures. Provide on-farm conventional embryo collection, embryo transfer, and embryo cryopreservation services for clients. Conduct ovum pick-up procedures in accordance with established clinical and operational protocols. Consult with clients to develop and implement strategic reproductive programs tailored to herd goals. Perform additional reproductive procedures, including pregnancy diagnosis, fetal sexing, and infertility evaluation. Contribute to the potential growth and development of small ruminant advanced reproduction services and client programs. Required Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution. Demonstrated bovine handling skills and strong awareness of livestock safety and welfare practices. Willingness and ability to travel overnight on a regular basis to support on-farm client services. Strong communication, client relationship management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications New graduates or early career applicants are encouraged to apply; exposure to bovine reproduction and embryo transfer is preferred. Experience with artificial insemination and bovine reproductive procedures. Previous exposure to embryo transfer, ovum pick-up, cryopreservation, or related advanced reproductive techniques. Interest in helping expand small ruminant reproductive service offerings.
