Boulevard Veterinary Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable veterinarian to join our small animal general practice in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. Our hospital recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of one of our veterinarians, and we are looking for someone to help us continue providing thoughtful, consistent care to our patients and community. We have an experienced support team, an established client base, and a collaborative work environment where each veterinarian's professional judgment is respected. This position may be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate's availability. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Perform scheduled wellness, sick, follow-up, and preventive-care examinations Diagnose and treat medical conditions affecting companion animals Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans Administer vaccinations and prescribe appropriate medications Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing Provide routine dental and medical care within the veterinarian's experience and comfort level Perform scheduled surgical procedures at the veterinarian's discretion Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners Maintain accurate and timely medical records Collaborate with veterinary technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership Surgical procedures are scheduled on designated surgery days and are performed entirely at the veterinarian's professional discretion. Doctors are not expected to perform procedures outside their experience or comfort level. No emergency or unscheduled surgery is required.
