What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

11 spacious exam rooms Dedicated treatment and triage areas Dedicated euthanasia suite for compassionate end-of-life care Dual surgical suites for emergency and soft tissue procedures Dedicated dental suite Digital radiography Digital dental radiography Ultrasound Electrocautery Phovia light therapy unit IDEXX in-house laboratory with rapid diagnostics You'll be supported by a highly skilled team with an impressive 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, allowing you to focus on patient assessment, diagnostics, treatment planning, and critical care. Emergency Medicine Opportunities Our doctors manage a diverse emergency caseload including: Trauma cases Toxicities Respiratory distress Gastrointestinal emergencies Urinary obstructions Endocrine crises Surgical emergencies Critical care stabilization Urgent care walk-ins This position combines the fast-paced, rewarding nature of emergency medicine with the supportive culture, flexibility, and work-life balance often found in a well-established general practice.
