A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. In your day-to-day, you will: Deliver high-quality emergency care to a diverse caseload of companion animals. Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions. Receive and triage incoming emergency cases while collaborating with our dedicated Critical Care and inpatient team on patients requiring continued hospitalization. Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine. Utilize advanced diagnostics, telemetry monitoring, and modern treatment capabilities to provide exceptional patient care. Collaborate closely with specialists, emergency veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Texas veterinary licensure. Experienced emergency veterinarians, internship-trained clinicians, experienced general practice and urgent care veterinarians, equine practitioners, and veterinarians with a strong clinical foundation who are eager to transition into emergency medicine are encouraged to apply. New graduates interested in developing their emergency medicine skills through our structured ER Immerse mentorship program are also encouraged to apply.
