Overnight Only | Three 12-Hour Shifts Per Week Why Join ARISE Veterinary Center ? At ARISE Veterinary Center, you'll practice emergency medicine in a 32,000-square-foot, two-story, state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital and Regional Training Center built around collaboration, advanced medicine, and continued learning. Located in Queen Creek, ARISE serves as the flagship multi-specialty and emergency hospital within our Arizona network, supporting the rapidly growing Queen Creek, Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, and San Tan Valley communities. As an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian, you'll work alongside a deeply experienced team with access to board-certified criticalists who are in the hospital six days per week and available on call 24/7. You'll also be supported by credentialed veterinary technicians, allowing you to focus on practicing exceptional medicine and caring for your patients. Education and collaboration are embedded into the culture at ARISE. Intern lecture series and resident rounds are held weekly with remote access, while morning grand rounds encourage collaboration across emergency and specialty services. Our team includes Emergency Veterinarians and specialists across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Cardiology, Dermatology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Neurology, Anesthesiology, and Critical Care—giving you an extraordinary depth of expertise to collaborate with on complex cases. In your day-to-day, you will: Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals. Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions. Provide comprehensive overnight emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment. Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine. Collaborate with board-certified specialists and experienced emergency clinicians on complex cases. Work closely with credentialed veterinary technicians and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. Participate in collaborative case discussions, rounds, and ongoing educational opportunities. Advanced Medicine & Technology Our 32,000-square-foot hospital provides the advanced technology and resources needed to manage a diverse and complex emergency caseload, including: Staffed full diagnostic laboratory with telecytology capabilities for rapid turnaround PrisMax MRI CT Ultrasound Endoscopy Mechanical ventilation Wireless telemetry Dialysis You'll practice alongside an extensive specialty team with expertise in: Critical Care Surgery Internal Medicine Dentistry Cardiology Dermatology Oncology Ophthalmology Radiology Neurology Anesthesiology What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Arizona veterinary licensure. Completion of a rotating internship or experience practicing emergency medicine is preferred, or equivalent clinical experience. Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced overnight environment. Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
