What they do
A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

- 130K Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience) For over 32 years, the Chenault Group has been providing comprehensive, high-quality, progressive, full-service veterinary care to our patients from across the Greater Richmond area .
- This role will primarily take care of patients in our Ashland, VA location at the Chenault Veterinary Hospital .
About Chenault Veterinary Hospital:
Large facility with 7 Exam Rooms- one is a designated "Cat Room" Contracted with Animal Control
- work on shelter pets
- sick visits & elective surgeries (great opportunity for New Grads) Fully equipped Surgical suite with 2 Tables Soft Tissue and Orthopedic Surgeries Dental Suite (separate from Surgical Suite) Ultrasound Therapy Laser Rehab Services
