What they do

A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description Massanutten Animal Clinic is actively seeking a Veterinarian to join our team in Harrisonburg, Virginia . We are a wonderful hospital with long-time clients/patients, great local schools, and a friendly community. Most of our staff have been here for over 5 years and have lots to offer clinically. Our mission statement is to provide compassionate care with respect and honesty for both clients and patients. We are a busy, full-service veterinary hospital that has served our community for over 30 years in a welcoming rural community, operating out of a brand-new facility designed for high-quality patient care and team efficiency. Our practice is growing into a five-doctor team supported by experienced LVTs and veterinary assistants. We prioritize strong support staff, modern resources, and work-life balance so our doctors can focus on practicing excellent medicine.

  • $100k to $135k Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)
  • No on-call or overnight shifts.

5 doctors ( you will be #6 ), small animal practice (cats & dogs) 5 licensed veterinary technicians Full-service facility Idexx
