Job Description

Associate Veterinarian - North Kingston RI A community-focused veterinary practice is seeking a Veterinarian to join its clinical team. This opportunity is suited for a veterinarian who values personalized patient care, strong client relationships, and a collaborative workplace.

The practice treats a diverse range of companion animals and offers an environment where veterinarians can continue developing their clinical skills while working alongside an experienced support team. Veterinarians with an interest in expanding their scope of practice or taking on future leadership responsibilities may also have opportunities to grow within the practice. Key Responsibilities Provide medical care for companion animal patients across a range of routine and complex needs. Conduct physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans. Perform preventive and wellness care, dentistry, surgery, and urgent medical services as appropriate. Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Work closely with veterinary technicians, assistants, and other members of the clinical team. Utilize available diagnostic and medical resources to support patient care. Participate in continuing education and maintain current professional knowledge. Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative workplace. Qualifications DVM or equivalent veterinary degree. Current veterinary license or eligibility to obtain the required state license. Experience or strong interest in companion animal medicine. Strong interpersonal and client communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a veterinary team. Commitment to compassionate patient care and high clinical standards. Interest in ongoing learning and professional growth.
