Urgent Care Veterinarian Air Harbor Veterinary Clinic - Charleston, SC Join Our Growing Team Air Harbor Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, family-owned veterinary hospital proudly serving the Charleston community for over 40 years. We are expanding our services by launching a dedicated Urgent Care department to provide same-day treatment for pets with illnesses and injuries that require prompt medical attention but are not life-threatening. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate veterinarian to lead our new Urgent Care service. This is a unique opportunity to be the primary veterinarian for our urgent care department, practicing independently while supported by an established hospital and experienced team. Schedule Thursday through Sunday 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Compensation 35% of collected professional fees Production-based compensation No base salary or guaranteed minimum Unlimited earning potential based on production Responsibilities Diagnose and treat urgent, non-emergency medical conditions Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostics, and common urgent care procedures Develop treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly with clients Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care instructions Maintain complete and accurate medical records Work independently while collaborating with our daytime veterinary team to ensure continuity of patient care Deliver compassionate, efficient, and high-quality veterinary medicine Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree Active South Carolina veterinary license Current DEA registration required Urgent care or emergency veterinary experience required Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and confidently manage a variety of urgent medical cases Excellent communication and client service skills Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented Why Join Air Harbor Veterinary Clinic?
