A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description

We are working on behalf of a modern, forward-thinking veterinary group expanding its footprint in the Fort Mill, SC area, just outside Charlotte. This is a well-resourced organization built around a connected ecosystem of care, pairing thoughtfully designed Pet Care Centers with Virtual Care to meet the needs of today's pet parents, offering both general practice and daytime urgent care under one roof. The team is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who leads with a Fear Free, low-stress approach to handling and genuinely enjoys collaborating with a close-knit, supportive team. You'll be joining a practice where preventive care and client education sit at the center of every appointment, and where high-end technology is used to make great medicine even better. About You:
DVM/VMD (or equivalent), licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina (licensure costs covered) 1+ years of experience in the pet care industry Committed to a Fear Free / low-stress handling approach Passionate about preventive care and educating pet parents Collaborative, compassionate team player with strong communication skills Lifelong learner who stays current with CE requirements and industry innovation
