Carter Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time Associate Equine Veterinarian to join our thriving mobile practice in the heart of the Lowcountry. Why Carter Veterinary Services? Scenic Location - Our office is minutes from Savannah, GA, with easy access to Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, and Charleston. Enjoy beaches, outdoor activities, and historical attractions! Established & Growing - Founded in 2009, we provide full-service ambulatory care and have exciting plans to build a clinic in the near future. Collaborative Team - Work alongside experienced veterinarians, including founder Dr. Dessie Carter and other dedicated associates. Engaged Client Relationships - Our veterinarians are encouraged to interact with clients during appointments to foster strong communication and trust. Work-Life Balance - Rotating on-call responsibilities ensure an optimal balance between professional and personal life.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has a collaborative spirit, a willingness to learn, and a great attitude toward both team members and clients. Enjoys engaging with clients to improve communication and education. Holds or is eligible for licensure in South Carolina and Georgia . Minimum of one year of experience is valued, but new graduates are encouraged to apply .
Your Role:
Provide high-quality equine care , including wellness exams, diagnostics, and treatments. Build strong client relationships and educate horse owners on best care practices. Work in a mobile practice setting , bringing top-tier veterinary services directly to clients. Stay current with advances in equine medicine and contribute to our continued growth.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting at -
Base Salary:
$100,000 , with a quarterly commission based on performance.
