A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description

We are looking for Full Time or Part Time Associate Veterinarian to join our strong team at Norris Animal Hospital/Clinton Animal Hospital , TN. Clinton/Norris is a beautiful, family friendly town within 30 minutes of Knoxville or 20 minutes from Oak Ridge, TN! We are two small animal hospitals that work hard but have fun and have been serving this community with a goal to provide the best and most up to date care for our patients for over 30 years. We offer a range of services such as boarding , Deluxe Dental System, New Ultrasound Unit, Laser Therapy Unit, New Digital Radiograph system, Full on-site lab (Hematology and Chemistry Analyzer), preventative care for all aspects of illness diagnosis and treatment. We are looking for someone who enjoys Medicine and Surgery and has a positive attitude, great communication skills and works well with their team and clients. There are no emergency or on-call duties. A typical schedule is a 4-day work week and every other Saturday (half-day on Saturday) for full time and 2-3 day and every other Saturday for part time.
