In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to our diverse clientele of companion animals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of small animals, including dogs, cats, and other companion species, utilizing animal restraint and handling techniques. Diagnose medical conditions using veterinary terminology, laboratory results, and clinical assessments. Perform surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and other soft tissue surgeries with proficiency in general anesthesia and aseptic techniques. Administer treatments for internal medicine issues, including cardiology, oncology, and critical & intensive care cases. Manage emergency medicine cases efficiently by providing immediate care and stabilizing critically ill animals. Utilize knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology to develop effective treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines. Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, pet grooming, pet care, and preventive health strategies to promote long-term wellness. Assist in laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and diagnostic testing to support accurate diagnoses. Maintain detailed medical records following veterinary standards and ensure compliance with all safety protocols. Support animal catheterization procedures and implement appropriate anesthetic protocols for surgical or diagnostic purposes. Experience Proven veterinary experience with a focus on small animal medicine and surgery. Hands-on experience in anesthesiology, including administering general anesthesia safely across various species. Familiarity with emergency medicine practices and critical & intensive care management for animals in urgent situations. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal restraint techniques, and aseptic procedures essential for daily operations. Laboratory experience related to diagnostic testing and sample analysis is preferred. Prior exposure to internal medicine disciplines such as cardiology or oncology enhances your ability to deliver comprehensive care.
