A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description

Stansbury Animal Hospital is looking for full-time Veterinarians! Built in 2011, our small animal private practice is located in a beautifully designed, 5000 sq ft free-standing building. The hospital is equipped with 4 examination rooms, a private consultation/grieving room, digital radiography, a dual surgical suite, and separate kennel rooms for large breed dogs, small breed dogs, and cats. Our treatment area includes 4 treatment stations and a surgery recovery area/ICU ward. We utilize Covetrus Pulse software as well as Abaxis in-house diagnostic equipment. Built to house 4 DVMs with support staff, our facility has room to grow as our community's needs do. In addition to veterinary services, we also offer boarding and grooming. We are seeking team players with excellent communication skills and confidence in their medicine skills. Interest in Internal Medicine and Emergency Care is preferred but not required. Must have a positive, energetic attitude. Associate package includes competitive salary, 401k, CE allowance, paid licenses/dues, liability insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, and group medical benefits.
Skills and Basic Qualifications:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from a U.S. accredited university. Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Utah. Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Works collaboratively with hospital team members. Makes decisions confidently and effectively. Manages time and tasks appropriately. Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients. Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth We are looking for ambitious associates who want to find a place to call home and grow with the company. $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
