Your Role as a LifeCare Veterinarian You'll provide compassionate, thoughtful medical care while building long-term relationships with pets and their families.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing comprehensive physical examinations Diagnosing and treating medical conditions Developing individualized diagnostic and treatment plans Providing preventive and wellness care Educating clients and helping them make informed decisions Performing routine surgical and dental procedures according to your comfort and experience Interpreting laboratory and diagnostic imaging results Maintaining clear and accurate medical records Communicating effectively with veterinary assistants and other team members Supporting high standards of patient safety and anesthesia Collaborating on challenging cases Providing appropriate follow-up and continuity of care Continuing to develop professionally and medically Most importantly, you'll be trusted to practice medicine as a doctor . Qualifications DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree Eligible for veterinary licensure in Virginia Ability to obtain appropriate controlled-substance credentials when required Commitment to ethical, evidence-based veterinary medicine Strong interpersonal and client-communication skills Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
