Description Country Animal Hospital is seeking a part- or full-time associate to join our busy, rural, privately owned small animal practice in beautiful central VT. We are a 5-doctor practice working out of a gorgeous 5,600 sq ft light filled hospital that has been a cornerstone to our incredibly loyal, tightknit community since 1990. We practice high- quality medicine with a focus on serving our client's pets as if they were our own. We have a 4.5-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio with experienced technicians, assistants, and client-care staff allowing the veterinarians to focus on practicing great medicine. Our support staff is dedicated, faithful and extremely hard working. We believe strongly in work-life balance, with a 4-day work week (for full time) and no on-call or weekend duties. We have excellent relationships with nearby emergency clinics and referral hospitals to provide our patients with exceptional care 24 x 7. Our hospital is equipped with in-house Idexx blood/urine/snap machines, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, and a state-of-the-art surgical suite. We also offer our client's pets grooming, boarding and doggy daycare. Within a few hours from us you could be in NYC, Boston, or Montreal; or within a few minutes deep in the mountains or swimming in the plentiful lakes and rivers around us. Your work week could range from two to four days per week depending on your availability. Our ideal candidate will be a team player, practice high-quality medicine and have a strong focus on client education. Experience is preferred but new graduates with a strong skill set would be welcomed. Total ProSal compensation including benefits will be 25% of production (no negative accrual) Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. 401K with employer match of 4% Paid vacation and holidays Continuing education allowance and paid CE days. Requirements DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school. Eligible for veterinary licensure in the state. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
