- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid Washington state veterinary license
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Must be motivated to continue to learn and advance skills in veterinary medicine
