This practice is built around a technician forward model, where experienced, licensed veterinary technicians take an active role in running daily operations. As the veterinarian, you will work in close partnership with this highly trained support staff, providing clinical guidance and consultation for both pets and their owners. The clinic is well equipped for general practice and urgent care, with in house digital radiography including dental x-ray, an in house ultrasound unit, and in house lab equipment for fast, convenient diagnostics. For more complex cases, you will have access to a boarded surgeon for orthopedic and surgical referrals, along with a visiting specialist imaging service offering advanced reads, including cardiac imaging. The team is also technology forward, using an AI scribe to handle documentation and callback support alongside a modern practice management platform, so you can spend more time with patients and less on paperwork. The clinic is focused on accessible pet care for the local community, with an emphasis on wellness and preventive medicine alongside general illness care. You will perform routine wellness and illness exams, guide treatment plans, and mentor the technician team, all while benefiting from a compensation structure with no negative accrual. About You:
Active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in Washington State Active DEA license in good standing Passionate about accessible, client focused veterinary care Comfortable working closely with and mentoring veterinary technicians Strong communicator with pet owners and support staff Open to a supportive, technician forward practice model
