Associate Veterinarian - Gig Harbor, WA A veterinary practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys providing high-quality companion animal care, managing a diverse medical and urgent care caseload, and delivering compassionate service in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations for companion animals. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including urgent care cases, while developing individualized treatment plans. Provide preventive, medical, surgical, and dental care within the scope of practice. Educate clients on treatment options, preventive healthcare, and wellness recommendations. Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives. Uphold high standards of medical care, patient safety, and client service. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply. Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
