Are you looking for a low stress, flexible, part-time veterinary position ? We are looking for a kind, caring and compassionate veterinarian to join our team. Our practice specializes in end-of-life care specifically in home pet euthanasias. We have been providing in-home pet euthanasia to the Spokane/CDA area for the last 10 years and are well known throughout the community for the services we provide. Excellent bedside manners, compassion and respect/understanding for the human-animal bond are imperative. Additionally, a current WA veterinary license, Idaho veterinary license (preferred but not required), the ability to hold a DEA license, the ability to work independently, a reliable vehicle, a functioning smart phone, and the ability to complete electronic medical records is required. We provide all the necessary supplies and training to be successful in this position. We are looking for an associate veterinarian for guaranteed 8 hour salaried shifts on Mondays, Fridays and PRN appointments on at least one Saturday a month with opportunities to have additional work as desired. This could be a 1 to 2.5 day a week position. Our veterinarians typically see 3-6 appointments per salaried shift. In addition to a salaried shift we have opportunities to see additional appointments on a flexible commission based PRN schedule. Quality of life is extremely important to us. Our practice is 100% mobile and has 4 client care coordinators (CSRs) and 6 doctors. We provide electronic medical records, electronic DEA compliant drug logs, 8-hour salaried shifts, opportunities as desired to see additional PRN appointments outside of scheduled shifts, coordinated efficient drive times/schedules, a full local, helpful and knowledgeable CSR support team, and part-time hours with flexibility not typically found in other types of practice. For the part-time position we offer options for 401k (contribution and matching) and license reimbursement (State/DEA; amount depends on number of days worked per week). Our pay is competitive ranging from $65-80 per hour for scheduled salaried shifts and $100-150 per hour for PRN appointments. In addition to the hourly rates we provide mileage compensation for shifts and PRN appointments. We are family owned and prioritize family time and quality of life for all of our employees .
