Schedule & Role Overview This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, and we're happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that fits both your availability and the practice's needs. While the schedule is flexible, our ideal options are outlined below. Full-Time Schedule (Preferred Option): Flexible 4-day work week by choosing four days between Monday and Friday, with shifts from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. No weekends, on-call, or after-hours responsibilities Willingness to occasionally cover a Saturday for PTO or planned absences is appreciated One surgery day per week Part-Time Schedule (Preferred Option): Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. No weekends, no on-call, and no after-hours responsibilities One day dedicated to appointments One day dedicated to surgery (soft tissue and dentistry preferred) Surgery & Appointment Flow Surgery caseload: 2-4 procedures per day (spays, neuters, mass removals, dentals; orthopedic procedures referred out)
Appointments:
30-minute slots ~15 per full appointment day ~5-7 on partial surgery days Built-in 12:00-1:30 p.m. lunch/catch-up time Our Support Team 3 CVTs 2 Veterinary Technicians 3 Veterinary Assistants Each doctor is supported by a dedicated technician, with additional support available as needed.
