Job Description

MLM Hearing is a well-established hearing care organization with deep roots in the communities it serves. Known for its patient-first philosophy and ethical approach to care, the practice focuses on long-term relationships, education, and quality outcomes. This opportunity is being recruited by Staffing Proxy, a specialized recruiting partner in hearing healthcare. Position Overview MLM Hearing is seeking a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to support their well-established practices in Moses Lake and Ellensburg, Washington . This position is open due to the retirement of the previous owner, creating a unique opportunity to step into a stable, respected practice with deep roots in the community. The HIS will split time between both locations and work closely with a strong Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) who supports operations at each clinic. This role is ideal for a provider who values relationship-based care, community presence, and long-term patient follow-up. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between Moses Lake and Ellensburg and practicing in both locations. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations in accordance with Washington state licensing guidelines Educate patients on hearing loss, test results, and treatment options Recommend and fit hearing instruments based on individual needs and lifestyle Provide follow-up care, adjustments, and ongoing patient support Partner closely with the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to ensure a smooth patient experience Maintain accurate patient records and a clean, professional clinic environment Requirements Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license in Washington state (or ability to obtain) Previous dispensing, fitting, sales, or service experience preferred Ability to clearly communicate test results verbally and in writing Willingness and ability to travel between Moses Lake and Ellensburg, WA Benefits Medical, dental, and vision Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) with company match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Company-paid life insurance Short-term and long-term disability
