Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of ensuring optimal climate control and mechanical efficiency across diverse property environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, boilers, and related mechanical equipment. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient spaces for our clients. We value proactive problem-solving, technical proficiency, and a passion for field service excellence. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in HVAC design, schematics interpretation, ammonia refrigeration systems, and mechanical maintenance. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine inspections of mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards. Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems and property maintenance tasks as needed. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functioning of equipment. Repair or replace refrigeration components including ammonia refrigeration systems while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for accountability and future reference. Qualifications Must have own transportation Must have own small tools, larger tools provided Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair. Knowledge of construction practices related to mechanical systems installation. Familiarity with schematics reading and HVAC system design principles. Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and appliance repair. Hands-on experience with field service operations across commercial or industrial settings. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Skilled in welding and equipment repair techniques; experience with boiler systems is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Additional skills in welding, property maintenance, HVAC/R (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), mechanical troubleshooting, and appliance repair are highly desirable. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
