Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer Technician

Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and design specifications Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) equipment to ensure peak operation Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; perform diagnostics on refrigeration and ammonia refrigeration systems Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs Test system performance post-installation or repair, adjusting components for optimal efficiency Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all field activities and equipment repairs Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation or maintenance; construction background is highly valued Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, property maintenance, or boiler systems Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driver record; ability to operate various HVAC/R equipment safely Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC installations and repairs Experience working with field service teams in diverse environments; excellent problem-solving skills Certifications or training in HVAC/R technology preferred; mechanical or technical school background advantageous Embark on a career where your skills make a real impact!
