Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant line repairs and ammonia refrigeration setups. Weld or perform equipment repairs as needed to restore system functionality efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs of all work performed for compliance and future reference. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems or related mechanical fields. Strong construction knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems. Mechanical knowledge of plumbing, welding techniques, and property maintenance practices. Familiarity with field service operations including troubleshooting on-site issues swiftly and effectively. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) standards and safety protocols.
