Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Conduct troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify electrical or mechanical faults. Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems. Weld, fabricate, or modify equipment as needed to meet operational specifications. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of refrigerants and other hazardous materials. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), with a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately. Field service experience demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot on-site effectively under diverse conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities for clear documentation and customer interaction.
