Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse properties. You'll work on a variety of HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems, boilers, and air conditioning units, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your hands-on approach will help keep buildings comfortable, energy-efficient, and compliant with industry standards. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems such as air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment—including ammonia refrigeration—and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform plumbing and mechanical repairs related to HVAC systems, ensuring all work adheres to safety protocols and building codes. Conduct field service visits for routine maintenance or emergency repairs across multiple properties. Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure system integrity. Weld or perform equipment repairs as needed to restore system functionality efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs for compliance and future reference. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or property maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction or building maintenance environments. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues. Experience working with air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and related equipment. Ability to operate tools such as welders and ohmmeters confidently and safely. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred for property visits. Knowledge of plumbing systems and appliance repair is highly desirable. Prior field service experience involving equipment repair, maintenance tasks, or property management is a plus.
