Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer Technician

Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment in accordance with schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, boilers, and appliances to ensure peak performance Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to facilitate accurate installations and troubleshooting Perform plumbing connections related to HVAC systems, ensuring proper flow and safety standards are met Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges; repair or replace faulty components like compressors or motors Maintain detailed records of service activities, system configurations, and repair logs for each client site Skills Strong construction background with experience in building systems installation Proven service technician experience in HVAC or refrigeration environments Proficiency reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to HVAC design Mechanical knowledge of air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and property maintenance systems Field service expertise with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently Experience with appliance repair, plumbing connections, welding techniques, and equipment repair Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems Mechanical aptitude for working on boilers, pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment This role is ideal for motivated technicians eager to advance their careers in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry.
