Heavy Civil Laborers and Carpenters

Dick Anderson Construction is hiring Heavy Civil Laborers & Carpenters for a project near Ogden, Utah. Join a respected heavy civil contractor working on large-scale infrastructure and concrete projects, including utilities, excavation, concrete structures, piling, and site development. We are looking for motivated laborers, experienced carpenters, and hard-working individuals who want to build a long-term career in heavy civil construction. What You'll Do:

Prepare and maintain construction sites Load, unload, and move materials, pipe, and equipment Dig trenches and assist with underground utility installation Assist with water and sewer installation Build, set, and strip concrete forms Assist with concrete placement and finishing Work with hand tools, power tools, and small equipment Support excavation, grading, piling, and earthwork operations Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites Work safely around heavy equipment and underground utilities Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and layout drawings Perform concrete placement and finishing support Work with gang forms, Symons forms, and wood forming systems Assist with pile driving and heavy civil construction operations Maintain safe and organized work areas Work efficiently with crews to meet production and quality goals

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old Construction or heavy civil experience preferred Concrete forming experience preferred for carpenter positions Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed Welding and pile driving experience preferred but not required Ability to communicate effectively.
